Why I see what I see.

I look with deliberate intent

as I wander a world that might otherwise go unseen

in a less observant or casual passage.

From big skies, to broad landscapes

and the infinite reach of the heavens

to the smallest objects, like a raindrop

that magnifies the intricate, masterful design of a feather.

I’m curious and in wonder.

I luxuriate in the mystery of the smallest things

as well as the big, cosmic aspects that shape life.

From the intricate lacework of a dragon fly’s wing

to how the moon shifts the tides of great oceans.

I remain the steward of my stories.
